# Plex.tv/link: Enter Your Plex Link Code in 4 Easy Steps

> Go to plex.tv/link, sign in, enter the 4-character code from your TV, and select Link. Simple steps to connect Plex on any smart TV or streaming device.

Open the Plex app on your TV and select **Sign In** to get a 4-character code. On your phone or computer, go to **plex.tv/link**, sign in to your Plex account, enter the code, and select **Link**. Your TV connects in a few seconds.

## How to activate Plex with plex.tv/link

**1. Open Plex on your TV and select Sign In**

Launch the Plex app on your smart TV or streaming device and choose **Sign In**.

**2. Note the 4-character code**

The TV shows a 4-character link code. Leave this screen open.

**3. Go to plex.tv/link on another device**

On your phone, tablet, or computer, open a browser and go to [https://plex.tv/link](https://plex.tv/link). Sign in to the same Plex account you want to use on the TV.

**4. Enter the code and select Link**

Type the code exactly as shown and submit. The TV app refreshes and signs in automatically.

> Many TVs also show a **QR code** next to the link code. Scan it with your phone camera to open the link page directly.
